Privacy policy
We keep as little as we can, and what we do keep you can see or have erased on request. This is not a legal template but what actually happens.
Who we are
Rattle the Barn runs the festival and the Farmers Market at De Laerehoeve in Knesselare. Questions about your data? Mail info@rattlethebarn.com.
What we keep, and why
The contact form. Your name, your email address and your message arrive as mail in our inbox. We do not keep them in a separate database and we use them only to answer you.
Tickets. For an order we keep your name, email address and the order itself, for as long as the bookkeeping requires. Payment happens at the payment provider; we never see your card details.
Stay informed. If you subscribe, we keep only your email address until you unsubscribe. Every mail carries that link at the bottom, and unsubscribing erases your address rather than putting it on a list.
What we do not do
No advertising trackers, no social media pixels, no analytics following you around the web. The spam check on the contact form runs on our own server, so nothing leaves for a third party there either. We never sell or rent data.
Your rights
You can always ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, and withdraw your consent. One mail is enough, and we answer within thirty days. If you are not satisfied, you can turn to the Data Protection Authority.
Cookies
The site sets only what it needs to work: your language choice, and your basket during an order. No consent banner, because there is nothing to ask.
